For his performance at the Holland Festival at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 2019, Colin used a special setup with individual speakers for each voice of his modular
synthesizer.
The speakers were arranged in a similar way to a symphony orchestra, and each speaker was covered with a frame. For the performance I projection mapped each individual frame.

For the visual setup I called in a favour from my friends at Light-Up Collective, who hooked us up with two high end projectors. Sem Schreuder and I had been working on a system for reactively controlling the visuals which we had developed with Colin for a number of years.
All the audio tracks were captured individually over a Dante interface. Sem created a patch in Max/MSP to analyze the amplitude of each voice and send it out as OSC floating point data. I then used that data to mask the visuals per speaker.
